We are HumanitiesAR

Arkansas Humanities Council announces a new brand name to reflect our ongoing mission to deepen the connection of our vibrant heritage and culture across Arkansas

Bringing Humanities to You

HumanitiesAR connects people from all walks of life through the culture, history and stories of the Natural State, with the goal of providing a commonplace for educational learning and capturing the imagination through a multifaceted lens of programs including seminars, workshops, lectures, exhibitions and more.

A major component of the our mission is to award grants that encourage nonprofit groups and organizations to plan, conduct, and evaluate or to participate in projects in the humanities for Arkansas.
