Arkansas Delta’s Economic Heritage: Southern Tenant Farmers Museum

In partnership with Economics Arkansas, join us to hear the story of how the Southern Tenant Farmers Union began. Think of 1934, the Great Depression, and how a diverse group of tenant farmers and sharecroppers came together to stand for what they believed in. You will also learn about the progression of cotton and farming over the years, see an original bank vault over 100 years old, learn about classroom resources and grants from the HumanitiesAR and hear what educational opportunities are available for you and your students.
